The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, on Thursday, posited that the G-5 governors’ visit to President Bola Tinubu at Aso Villa is proof that the hustle is real.

The G-5 governors were made up of five Peoples Democratic Party, PDP governors namey; Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Seyi Makinde (Oyo) and Nyesom Wike (Rivers).

According to Sowore, all the governors are out of office, except Governor Mankinde of Oyo state, and are dealing with the reality of their wicked and corrupt existence.

In his words, “from G-5 to G-string: hustlers united!, from so-called Powerful “G-5” Governors to Perforated G-String Ex-Governors (except for Makinde who is a serving governor). The hustle is real. @GovWike is now dealing with the reality of his wicked and corrupt existence, just like the ex-Abia Gov. Isi-Slippers, and that loudspeaker and Mr. Do-Nothing from Benue who used “Fulani” as an excuse to never get anything done, not even salaries of his workers. Like the Bourbons of France, “They had learned nothing and forgotten nothing.”

It would be recalled that the G-5 governors formed an alliance after the party’s presidential primary was won by Atiku Abubakar in May 2022.

They demanded that the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, should step down for a southern replacement as a precondition to support the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku in the February 25 poll.

According to the 5-G governors, it was unfair for the party to have northerners as its national chairman and presidential candidate.
