An international survey which ranks various countries of the World based on key thematic strengths has come up with a verdict that the United States has retained its position as the most powerful country in the world for 2021 with a 98.09 overall score. The United States is closely followed by China with a significant 94.29 score while Russia came third with a score of 94.11.

The report show that India emerged fourth with 93.63 score, France fifth position  with 92.36, Germany sixth in ranking with a score of 92.23 score, Japan came seventh with 90.62 score, United Kingdom got 90.15 score to clinch eight position, South Korea scored 89.07 to come ninth, and Israel grabbed the tenth position with a score of 88.37.

The report just released by CEOWORLD is based on its  annual comprehensive ranking  of the most powerful countries in the World . According to the organization, the ranking is based on seven attributes and criteria: political stability, economic influence, defense budget, country’s weapons, global alliances, soft power, and military strength.

Similarly, according to the report, there are also the top twenty most powerful countries in the World. According the CEOWORLD they include the following with their specific scores: Saudi Arabia(86.15 score:11th position), Italy(85.66 score:12th position), Spain(84.29 score:13th position), United Arab Emirates(83.98 score:14th position), Canada(83.88 score:15th position), Switzerland(83.66 score: 16th position), Australia(82.18 score:17th position), Turkey(81.93 score:18th position), Sweden(81.55 score: 19th position), and Taiwan(80.63 score:20th position).

According to the report, Nigeria ranks 82th position with 61.65 score, Ethiopia, 85th position with 61.31 score and Angola scored 61.12 making her the last on the rung. Some interesting dynamics show that Egypt came 27th position with a score of 77.43 beating countries such as Austria, Denmark, New Zealand and Portugal. Ghana came 57th with a score of 66.06 to edge Ireland to 58th position with a score of 65.84 while Morocco clinched the 60th position with a score of 65.2.

According to the organization, whose international ranking is most highly respected and verifiable the world over, the seven attributes which it used to assess the various countries of the world and rank them are : political stability, economic influence, defense budget, country’s weapons, global alliances, soft power, and military strength.. The report describes the U.S. as the “most dominant economic and military power in the world.” “ America also has a large cultural impact on the world because of how its popular culture is expressed in music, movies, books, and TV shows”, it says.

However, the most powerful countries across the globe according to the CEOWorld 2021 report are the ones that constantly shape up the global economic policies and dominate the world through 7 features such as political stability, economic influence, defense budget, country’s weapons, global alliances, soft power, and military strength. According to CEOWORLD, it surveyed 190 countries on the whole across the world.

It says to appropriately capture the mechanics, researchers examined 60 metrics that matched the seven attributes. The organization said it  carried out the survey between October-December, 2020.
