Nigeria’s Minister of Youth and Sports Sunday Dare has expressed confidence in the Super Eagles team to beat their Ghanaian counterpart in the two-leg 2022 World Cup playoff in Kumasi.
He charged the team to beat the Black Stars both home and away to secure qualification.
In his words: “We [Nigeria] are not going to Ghana to draw. We are going to beat the sh*t out of them,” he said on Wednesday.
“Super Eagles should just go all out. There is insurance for their legs now.”
The Super Eagles have arrived in Kumasi for the game and will train at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The stakes are high for the two West African rivals ahead of the must-win game that will secure qualification to the global showpiece in Qatar in November this year.
Nigeria excelled in the group stage of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, recording a perfect record against Egypt, Guinea-Bissau and Sudan.
However, their Ghanaian counterpart flattered to deceive after recording their worst-ever record at the continental showpiece.
The Black Stars exited the group stage without a win after defeat to Morocco and minnows Comoros as well as a draw against Gabon.
