The tribunal after adopting the parties’ final written addresses, reserved judgment to a date to be communicated to the parties in the case.

Mr. Atiku who is challenging the declaration of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Tinubu as the winner was presently at the presidential election petition tribunal in Abuja.

Respondents in the suit are the Independent National Electoral Commission, Bola Tinubu, and the All Progressives Party.

It will be recalled that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku, and his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi, had in their separate petitions prayed the court to challenge the declaration of Bola Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 presidential election.

The court, on July 5, concluded its hearing of both Atiku and Obi’s petitions.
