Following vacuum created by the ten Ministers who resigned their appointments as a result of a directive from the presidency asking them to step down and pursue their political ambitions ahead of the 2023 elections, President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to get their replacement in no distant time.

Buhari made the pledge on Friday in Abuja during a valedictory session in honour of the ten ministers that complied with the quit order.

Buhari receives Outgoing Ministers In State House

The Minister of Information and Culture Alhaji Lai Muhammed, who made the revelation noted that the outgoing ministers will be replaced soon.

The ministers that attended the session according to Muhammed are Rotimi Amaechi (Transportation), Chris Ngige (Labour and Employment), Godswill Akpabio (Niger Delta Affairs), Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu (Science and Technological Innovation), Timipre Sylva State for Petroleum Resources), Tayo Alasoadura (State for Niger Delta Affairs), Dame Tallen Paulen (Women Affairs), Uche Ogar (State for Mines and Steel Development), Abubakar Malami (Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice) and Emeka Nwajuba (State for Education), who was absent but with a permission.
