The New Diplomat, a global think tank devoted policy and energy security dynamics, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across Nigeria and around the world on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan, calling for renewed faith, unity and prayers for the peace and progress of the nation.
In a statement issued at the weekend, the organisation congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the beginning of the sacred month, describing Ramadan as a season of deep spiritual reflection, self-discipline and compassion.
“As Muslim faithful embark on this sacred journey of faith, sacrifice and devotion, The New Diplomat join millions of Nigerians in celebrating the blessings and spiritual significance of Ramadan,” it said. “This holy month reminds us of the enduring values of patience, humility, generosity and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.”
The organisation also called on Nigerians of all faiths to embrace the spirit of tolerance, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence, stressing that unity remains the bedrock of national development.
