The last Cricket event, 50 overs ODI series gets hotter as medal winners will emerge today at both Adolor and Iyoba venues in the male and female category.

Joshua Ayunaike of the Lagos team got to the final spot first as leaders of Group 1 beating, Delta and Anambra. They were joined by Kaduna who qualified after defeats to Edo and Kwara in Group 2.

Edo State led by Peter Aho and Delta will fight dirty for the bronze this morning at Edo Boys High school ground.

Already, Edo team has 1gold and a silver from 6-Aside and T20 event to boost their morals for the game. Delta on the other hand have had nothing and likely going to put up a fierce battle for Edo’s attempt to climb the podium in Cricket ODI medals ceremony.

Tuesday will be the biggest cracker as Lagos with highest Cricket playing experience will play with Sylvester Okpe led Kaduna who has been focused on quality delivery and finest competition average.

At Iyoba College, Edo female will attempt to lay hands on the third gold medal but it will be a tall order as Akwa Ibom girls with two bronze in the bag will fight for the pound of flesh on Tuesday finals.

Meanwhile, Kaduna female will file out against Ebonyi girls in the quest for bronze medal today at Iyoba pitch.
