Following the walk out staged by the members of the Interim Management Committee, IMC of the Niger Delta Development Commission on the chairman of the House of Representatives, Committee on NDDC, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has recused himself from the panel.

Colleagues had described Ojo’s action as a demonstration of the Committee’s transparency and fairness on the ongoing probe of the NDDC.

The lawmakers had summoned the NDDC’s Acting MD, Prof Daniel Pondei and Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill on the allegations of fraud bordering on how the Commission spent N81.5bn in less than  six months among other financial scandals at the NDDC.
