Nigeria’s international, Victor Moses has won his first award of the year in the colours of Stoke City after his loan move from London side, Chelsea.

The Super Eagles winger, who is presently nursing an injury, won Stoke City’s Goal of the Month Award for the month of March. The goal was voted by Stoke City fans through the club’s website.

The winger scored a sublime header against Everton as he backpedaled but managed to still generate enough power to beat Tim Howard in the Toffees’ goal to give The Potters the lead from 15 yards out and help his team record a 2-0 victory against their rivals back in March.

The former Wigan star received 72% of the vote, beating both Mame Diouf effort against Crystal Palace (28%).

Victor Moses scored three goals in the league for Stoke before his most recent injury setback.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles striker also made the news in a remarkable fashion featuring in a UK tabloid Daily Mail’s list of the top 10 shirtless goal celebrations in the world of football, coming in at the number 8 spot on the log.
