There is anxiety in Osun state as six persons who had tested positive for Coronavirus infection have reportedly escaped from isolation center in the state.

According to multiple reports, the coronavirus patients escaped from the center at Ejigbo local government area of Osun.

The six persons were among the cluster of returnees who had tested positive for COVID-19, following their return to their hometown, Ejigbo, from Ivory Coast last week. Recall all the returnees have since been quarantined by the state government.coronavirus

Though there is no official statement yet from the Osun State government as of the time of this report, however, Tribune retorted that the state has launched a manhunt for the six escapees.
