The Supreme Court has struck out a motion praying for an abridgement of time earlier brought by APC’S Chief David Lyon. The decision to strike out the motion Today was premised on Lyon’s legal team’s decision to withdraw the motion for an abridgement of time for a determination of the substantive case.

In withdrawing his motion for an abridgement of time, Chief Lyon is of the view that since the apex court has already scheduled Wednesday, tomorrow for the substantive case, there was no need for an abridgement of time. The substantive case comes up tomorrow.
