Former Ifeanyi Uba and Abia Warrior coach, Everton Raphael was on Monday unveiled as the new head coach of Akwa United at the Nest of Champions, Uyo.

Paul Bassey assured fans that the new coach will deliver needed result for the Akwa Ibom top football club.

“We needed a foreign coach with Nigerian experience. We need new philosophy and tactics and for the task at hand we cannot afford a coach who would be absent because of national assignments.

“My target is bring trophies for Akwa United, I’ll depend on the players I have to deliver.” Raphael said.
