By Charles Adingunpu

Barely few hours after he was declared winner of the tension soaked Abia State Governorship election, the Labour Party, LP candidate, Alex Otti has pledged to Fullfil his Electoral Promises just as the incumbent Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu assured seamless transition.

Otti who thanked LP members and supporters for their unquestionable commitment, told Abians that his political campaigns afforded him the opportunity to transverse every nooks and crannies of the state with their different peculiarities.

He assured the people of the state who, he said have been denied the dividends of democracy for a long time now, that his administration would ensure equitable distribution of infrastructures as well as equal opportunity for all Abians irrespective of their political affiliations, ethnic affinity or religious persuasions.

In a swift reaction, the incumbent Governor and a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Okezie Ikpeazu in a congratulatory message to the Governor Elect, described Otti’s victory as well deserved.

Ikpeazu noted that Otti’s perseverance in his quest to governor Abia State eventually paid off.

He, however, promised to ensure seamless transition of power to the Abia State Governor Elect.
