The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged winner of the Saturday’s poll in Ekiti.

This was declared by the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.

Yakubu declared that Tinubu polled a total of  201,494 votes, while Peoples Democratic Party got 89,554 votes and the Labour Party scored 11,397 votes.

This is as the INEC boss declared that collation has been postpone till Monday, hinging the development on the delay of results from other states of the Federation.

In other development, Tinubu is leading in Seven of Eight Local Government Areas in Saturday’s presidential election results which has been declared by the INEC Lagos State Collation Centre on Sunday.

However, the former governor lost his Local Government, Ikeja to the Presidential candidate of Labour Party(LP), Peter Obi.
