World-leading policy institute, The Royal Institute of International affairs, Chatham House, has invited former Anambra State Governor and presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi to discuss his 2023 presidential ambitions.
Chatham House Africa in a tweet on Thursday, slated January 16, 2023 for Peter Obi’s media chat in London, United Kingdom.
The statement reads, “Nigeria’s 2023 Elections: In conversation with @PeterObi
“The second of our events examining #Nigeria’s 2023 elections and political developments will take place on January 16, 2023 / Chatham House and online”.
“The event is part of a series of events and outputs examining Nigeria’s 2023 elections”.
It would be recalled that, on 5th December, 2023 the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu spoke at the Chatham House, London, on his plans for Nigeria if elected in 2023.
The presidential candidate while addressing participants at the lecture, deliberated on issues on nation building and modalities on implementation of his manifesto titled ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’.
Tinubu reiterated his preparedness to lead the nation to prosperity because of his lifetime dedication to the country.
Speaking on the survival of democracy in Nigeria, Tinubu said he would always stand against electoral violence and any form of intimidation.
