2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, has visited the students of Christ the King College (CKC) Onitsha, Anambra State, amid claims that Peter Odili was once his class mate in the school.

Obi in a post on his verified Facebook handle, on Sunday, shared a picture with Students of the school with caption, “Today with the students of Christ the King College (CKC) Onitsha, Anambra State, my alma mater, to celebrate the feast of Christ The King, the Almighty, by whose Grace we all exist”.

The New Diplomat reports Peter Obi, on Saturday, denied that he once said Peter Odili was his former class mate following critics from the general public.

Checks by The New Diplomat revealed that Peter Odili a former governor of Rivers between 1999 to 2007, attended CKC between 1961 and 1965 while Obi was born on July 19, 1961.

Recall also that Peter Obi during the inauguration of the Nkpolu Oroworukwo flyover, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State Capital, said that Peter Odili was the senior prefect of his secondary school — Christ the King College (CKC), Onitsha.
