Deputy President of the 9th Senate and Governorship Candidate of the All-Progressive Congress, (APC) in Delta State, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has felicitated with the Orodje of the Okpe Kingdom and Chairman, Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, HRM Felix Mujakperuo, Orhue 1 on the 16th anniversary of his coronation.

A congratulatory message issued by the Director, Communications and Media Strategy, Delta APC Gubernatorial Campaign Organisation, Ima Niboro, on Friday, in Abuja, the Delta Central lawmaker hailed the revered monarch for using his position to promote peace and progress since his ascension to the exalted throne.

While describing the traditional ruler as vibrant, visionary and progressive, Omo-Agege also noted that the monarch has always been at the forefront of the quest for justice, equity, and fairness.

He prayed to God to grant the Orodje long life, good health, and a peaceful and purposeful reign to continue to contribute to national development, unity, and harmony in the country.

“I join your subjects at home, in the Diaspora and other well-wishers to felicitate with you on the joyous occasion of your 16th coronation as Orodje of Okpe Kingdom.

“You have drawn my attention from time to time to a variety of local and national issues and offered sincere, fatherly advice. This is the hallmark of a true leader.

“You have always spoken truth to power and I pray that peace, progress, and prosperity continue to be the hallmark of your reign”, he said.
