The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso has announced Bishop Isaac Idahosa as his running mate for the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.

This disclosure was made on the official Twitter page of the NNPP on Thursday.

“Our VP Pastor Bishop Isaac Idahosa from Edo State,” the party tweeted.

Bishop Isaac Idahosa from Edo State is the Senior Pastor of God First Ministry, popularly known as Illumination Assembly, with its headquarters at Lekki Light Centre (LLC), Ajah, Lagos.

The cleric who is also a gospel singer, writer, and motivational speaker is popularly known as ‘Prophet Talk Na Do’ by his followers.

The development comes after the meger talks between NNPP and Labour Party broke down.

The New Diplomat had reported that NNPP’s Kwankwaso and LP’s Peter Obi had entered talks over a possible alliance but talks broke down as both parties failed to reach an agreement on who to become the presidential candidate.
