The Federal High Court in Abuja has again dismissed the bail application filed ny the detained leader of the Proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

Justice Binta Nyako, in her ruling on Tuesday, described the bail application as a gross abuse of court process, adding that the suit was an attempt to continue to litigate on issues that have already been ruled on.

It would be recalled that Justice Nyako, last month, had denied Kanu’s bail application.

Giving ruling at the time, she said that the issue of Kanu’s absence in the past, since 2017, should be determined, before his bail application, will be entertained.

She had ruled that Kanu breached his former bail conditions, and until that is heard, his present bail application is immature.

In the Tuesday’s ruling Justice Nyako reiterated that the ruling stands, adding that the applicant can approach the Court of Appeal on the issue of bail, should he feel aggrieved by the decision of the court.
