The Gift of Hindsight: What I Would Tell My Younger Self, By Johnson Babalola

By Johnson Babalola @jbdlaw Hindsight, they say, is life’s most generous teacher—but it sends its lessons late. It is only after the storms that the patterns become clear; only after the wrong turns that the map begins to make sense. As I celebrate another birthday today and have grown older, I often find myself reflecting…

Former Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano is currently chilling off in his home in the United States.

Photographs of the former Anambra governor in his home in the US surfaced on the internet late yesterday.

Recall that Obiano had dropped indications that he will relocate to his United States base when he leaves office.

The last that was heard about him was his bitter encounter with the Economics and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) where he was arrested by the anti-graft agency as he was trying to travel to the US.

Prior to his arrest, Willie’s wife, Ebelechukwu had a bitter fight with Bianca, the widow of the late Biafran leader, Odumegwu Ojukwu during the inauguration ceremony of incumbent governor Chukwuma Soludo.

However, the past few days have been nothing but sunshine for the family. Ebele defeated her husband’s former Chief of Staff, Primus Odili to emerge the flag bearer of All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA for Anambra North Senatorial District.

Obiano, at the APGA primary held at Chuba Ikpeazu Stadium, Onitsha, Onitsha North Local Government Area, scored 152 votes while her closest rival, Odili got 120.

With Willie also chilling off in his home in USA, the Obiano’s are surely having a swell time.
