Six aspirants for the position of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have stepped down.

With the development, the coast is now clear for Senator Abdullahi Adamu to emerge as the next National Chairman of APC.

The aspirants are Sen. Mohammed Sani Musa, Sen. Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, Abudulaziz Yari, Mal. Saliu Mustapha and Mohammed Saidu Etsu.

The aspirants in a letter they jointly signed said they took the decision in respect of the endorsement of Adamu by President Muhammadu Buhari and other stakeholders.
