President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday said he would hand over a better Nigeria than the one he inherited in 2015.

The president said his administration is committed to making Nigeria a better place for all.

He said this while speaking at the palace of Alhaji Muhammadu Isa II, the Emir of Jama’a, in the Kafanchan area of Kaduna state.

Buhari is currently in Kaduna State on a two-day working visit.

The president who flew in from Banjul, the Gambia where he attended the inauguration of President Adama Barrow’s second term in office, was received by Governor Nasir El-Rufai and other top government officials.

He is expected to commission some project executed by the El-Rufai’s administration in Kaduna, Zaria, and Kafancan.

Speaking at the monarch’s palace, Buhari said he will ensure his administration deliver on all the campaign promises made during the 2015 and 2019 elections.

He also commissioned three road projects in Kafanchan, the headquarters of Jema’a local government area of Kaduna State.

Speaking during the commissioning, Buhari commended El-rufai for embarking on projects that will improve the lives of the citizens.
