Interim Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Augustine Eguavoen has named his final 28-man list to represent the country at the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to hold in Cameroon from January 9 to February 6, 2022.
In the list made available in a statement issued by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Huesca’s Kelechi Nwakalu, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Odion Ighalo are all set to represent the Super Eagles.
Also in the 28-man list are Leon Balogun, William Troost-Ekong, Ahmed Musa, Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi.
The Eagles who are in Group D are to face Egypt, Guinea-Bissau and Sudan at the group stage of the 2021 AFCON.
