West Ham on Saturday defeated Chelsea in a 3-2 thrilling match at the London Stadium.

The hammers produced a historic comeback twice to stun the league leaders.

Chelsea found the back of the net first through Thiago Silva’s header in the 28th minute. West ham equalised through Manuel Lanzini who levelled from the spot.

Mason Mount restored Chelsea’s lead with a near-post volley just before half-time, but the hosts again pulled level in the 56th minute.

Arthur Masuaku scored West ham’s third to ensure his side bag all three points, while ending an eight-game Premier League unbeaten run of Chelsea.

Reacting to the loss, Chelsea’s head coach, Thomas Tuchel, said individual mistakes cost his side the match.

His words, “Our performance today, it was enough to win the game. We gave easy goals away, this is unusual — big mistakes that lead to big chances and easy goals. We’ve done this against United, Watford, and today.

“We make too many big mistakes; we need to take care of the details. There is no need to ask big questions or start doubting the big picture, this game at West Ham is about details. Without making big mistakes, there was a big chance we could have won this game.”
