The son of late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, Jimmy Odukoya has reacted to the shocking loss of his step mum, Nomthi to cancer.

Jimmy Odukoya, whose father, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya is the senior pastor of Fountain of Life Church described the timing of the news as crazy and a very difficult time.

Jimmy reacted and disclosed this via his Instagram on November 10, 2021 as he mentioned that he is set to make his Hollywood debut with the film “Woman King,” around the time he lost his stepmum.

In his words:“The timing of this is crazy to me but God has a way of continuing to shine light during difficult times. Truly humbled and honoured to star alongside the iconic @violadavis and all the amazing cast and to be directed by the legendary @gpbmadeit. Thank you,” he wrote.

Set to premiere on September 22, the movie also features Hollywood stars like Viola Davis and John Boyega, British actor Jordan Bolger and Grammy Award winner Angelique Kidjo.

Jimmy Odukoya has starred in several movies inducing Mamba’s Diamond, The Wait, The Bling Lagosians and Celebrity Marriage.

He is the son of late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya who died on December 11, 2005, from injuries sustained in a plane crash the previous day.
