Mayorkings Agency Group, a non-governmental organisation has bestowed award of excellence on Deputy senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege; Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State.

Others include Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state and Governor Abubakar Sani of Niger.

The organisation noted that the listed awardees were considered for the honour in recognition of their efforts and commitment in ensuring good governance in the country.

This was disclosed by the President/founder of the group, Ambassador Temisan Louis, while addressing journalists in Abuja. He explained that the Global Good Governance Ambassadors Awards conferred on the awardees was to appraise them for their efforts in achieving sustainable development and good governance.

He added that the selected awardees performed excellently in good governance and were commited to social welfare including the three major areas: government and politics, corporate sector and social sector.

Louis also disclosed that the awardees would be presented their award on October 28, at Sheraton Hotel, Abuja. He also disclosed that the theme for the 2021 award edition is “Repositioning Good Governance Mentality For Global Impact”

Other distinguished personalities selected for this year’s awards include Senator Theodore Orji, Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, Chairman/CEO E&A Group, Chief Ayiri Emami, DESOPADEC Executive Director on Planning Research and Statistics, Comr Shedrack Agediga, Dr. Mrs. Mabel Magbulu-Monina, CEO Eagles Height Properties and Investment Ltd, Amb. Bright Maya, Prince Ogaga Wowo CEO Kobis Global, Israel Edemayibo, Oritseje Washington CEO Azaman Oil & Gas Ltd also make up the list of recipients amongst others.
