The marriage of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and Senator Ned Nwoko, the lawmaker representing the Delta North Senatorial District of Delta State in the Nigerian Senate, is once again at the center of a social media storm following an emotional outburst in a viral video.

In the video posted on Instagram, Daniels expressed frustration about her marital experience, saying “I lost, I will go back.”

The actress said she was struggling emotionally and mentally.

“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” Daniels said in the emotional clip.

The actress, who had earlier celebrated her parents’ reconciliation on Thursday, disclosed that her once‑estranged parents reunited solely for her happiness.

“Two sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness.

“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!

“But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Do you guys think it’s easy? Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh my brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back,” she said.

In another post on Friday, Daniels said: “I give up! What was my brother’s offense? Fighting for his baby sister because his in-laws would always beat her up? I actually accorded the Nigerian police some respect but shame on you all !!! It’s obvious the highest bidder always wins. Now I’m crippled! I will return if that’s the only way, do whatever he says, get injected to be like a zombie, get locked up and raped in the house. Only then will my brother return. Because by law, there is no tangible case against Sammywest! Ned Nwoko is bigger than the whole of Nigeria that’s what this means. We lost, or rather, I lost! @sir.sammywest.”

This development comes after Daniels hinted she had experienced domestic violence in her marriage.

However, Nwoko has dismissed the allegations, claiming that Daniels’ outburst was allegedly influenced by “drug and alcohol abuse.”
