Eight detained aides of embattled Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho have been released on Monday.

The eight aides out of the 12 arrested 12 were released to their legal counsel, Pelumi Olajengbesi.

This is coming after the aides had spent 60 days in detention facility of the Department of State Services (DSS).

It was also gathered that the remaining four aides are still in detention over allegations that they are stockpiling arms and ammunitions to cause havoc in the country.

Recall that 12 aides of Igboho were arrested by the operatives of the DSS during the invasion of Igboho’s residence in Soka area of Ibadan, Oyo State.

Following their continued detention since July 1st when they were arrested, Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Abuja High Court ordered that the 12 detained aides of Igboho be granted bail on the grounds that the detainees are entitled to bail by the provisions of the Nigerian law.
