A former lawmaker who represented the people of Warri South Constituency II in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Dennis Omovie has passed away.

Omovie, who is also the Unuevworo of Ugboroke, passed away in the late hours of Tuesday.

Although, the cause of his death remains sketchy as of press time, however, reports has it that the former lawmaker died after suffering a brief illness.

The deceased represented Warri South Constituency 2 in the Assembly for 16 years from 2003 to 2019.

Until his death, he was the Director-General, Delta State Public and Private Properties Protection Agency.
