History was made on Saturday as Leicester City defeated Chelsea in a dramatic 1-0 win to secure their first ever FA Cup.

Youri Tielemans’ stunning strike was enough to crown Leicester as the champions against Chelsea who were seeking to win the competition for the ninth time.

Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho and Ndidi also played a significant role in securing the first FA trophy for their side.

The final, however, lived up to its expectations as the 20,000 fans also played an important role in making the match a thrilling one.

VAR also found itself at the heart of the biggest occasions, as Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell’s 88th minute goal was controversially ruled out.

Meanwhile, Leicester managed to see off the game with the lone goal to add their name to the history books.
