Today, members of the British royal family paid their final respects to the late Duke of Edinburgh.
Prince Philip, the longtime husband of Queen Elizabeth and royal consort passed awayon April 9 at age 99.
Though most royal funerals involve crowds of spectators and many attendees, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Prince’s ceremony was small and limited primarily to family.

Before the funeral, members of the military marched throughout the Windsor Castle grounds.The Queen arrived at the funeral in a black protective face mask.The Queen’s Company, 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards carried the coffin, draped in his royal standard flagPrince Charles, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, Prince William, Peter Phillips, and Prince Harry all followed the Land Rover hearse.Prior to his death, Prince Philip customized a Land Rover to carry his coffin.
