Unknown thugs have reportedly disrupted the Peoples Democratic Party’s North West congress, which was held at Trade fair complex, Kaduna State, Saturday.

The New Diplomat gathered that the thugs who invaded the venue carted away ballot boxes which should have been used in electing the Chairman and other positions for the PDP in the North West geopolitical zone.

The race for the North West Chairman of the party is between  Senator Bello Hayatudeen and Muhammad Jamo Yusuf both from Kano State.

The PDP was yet to react to the disruption of its North West congress as at the time of filing this report.
