Faisal who has been charged over the allegations of N58 million fraud, reportedly fled to the US in an attempt to evade the judgment of the court.

Abubakar further stated that Faisal sneaked out of the country through the Republic of Niger.

Following the development, Honorable Justice Okon Abang, the presiding judge, ordered the forfeiture of the property of the Sani Dan-Galadima, a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Kaura-Namoda Federal Constituency of Zamfara, over the absence of Faisal at the court.

Recall that Faisal was granted bail with a 60million surety from Dan-Galadima, after the court demanded for a surety who must be a member of the House of Representatives.

It would be recalled also that Faisal and his father, Maina, are both facing trial on the allegations of money laundering and operating fictitious bank accounts.

Maina was alleged to have been responsible for the N2.1billion pension fraud under his tenure as the chairman of PRTT.
