Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and other chieftains of the party have visited former President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja ahead of the 2023 elections.

Those who visited the former president include, Senator Kashim Shettima, APC Vice-Presidential candidate, and five Governors.

The governors are Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara), Bello Matawale (Zamfara), Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), Simon Lalong (Plateau) and Dapo Abiodun (Ogun).

“His visit to Jonathan shouldn’t come to anyone as a surprise. Tinubu holds no grudges with any political whether within the party or in the opposition,” he said.

It is not yet clear what transpired at the meeting apart from the picture that surfaced online.
