Once upon a time dazzling Regina Daniels and wealthy Senator Ned Nwoko were love birds.

They bestrode the world and were the ultimate love birds not withstanding the age difference between them.

Some saw the relationship as “child abuse” as Daniels was still a teenager and Nwoko an elder.

The two cared less about the scathing criticisms.

Hand in hand as the love birds they were, they were all over the place enjoying life.

Ladies were either in awe of the love-struck pair or jealous of Daniels for the affluence she found.

Randy men wished they were Ned Nwoko.

But, beneath the razzmatazz lies a cupboard full of skeletons and scandals.

Dr*ugs. Family leaches. Expensive bills paid. Private jets flown. Life lived in full or so it seemed.

Then, like most celebrity relationships, the bubble finally burst.

There was no marriage consummated. They merely lived and procreated out of wedlock.

The two hitherto love birds have now began to wash their dirty clothes publicly.

The clothes include their underpants and all sorts never seen by the public. Now they see them and they are truly dirty.

The little girl with a big god has gone gaga in a tell-it-all.

There’s no going back; the gloves are off.

Unfortunately, the Distinguished Senator who didn’t mind playing with children has suddenly found himself exchanging words with a small girl that is young enough to be his daughter.

The social media is feasting. That’s what it enjoys doing.

Shame knows no bounds.

Well, I have no pity for either of the parties. They rocked life while we sat by the sidelines watching them regale us with their Romeo and Juliet lifestyle.

Now that we have known that all that glitters are not gold, maybe we should ask friends of the Senator to talk to him.

He has started a roforofo fight with a child and a family that knows nothing called sleaze.

He should guard his name and status jealously, that is, if there’s still something left in that name.

Ned Nwoko should cease further public spat with Regina Daniels.

Regina is down and will fear no more falls.

Anymore public statements from Ned will serve as materials for social media and Regina lives there.

Life is but a fleeting illusion.
