A chieftain of the All-Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State and Director, Communications and Media Strategy, Delta APC Campaign Organisation, Olorogun Ima Niboro has described the APC Presidential Candidate in the 2023 election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the man with the Midas touch whom Nigerians need to turn things around for good for the country.

Niboro who stated this whilst fielding questions in a recent Channels Television interview, noted that the former governor of Lagos State possesses the requisite experience and capacity to successfully govern the country, adding that he is the most competent among all the Presidential candidates for the 2023 election.

According to the former presidential spokesman to former President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan and ex-MD of the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, the country needs a visionary leader like Tinubu to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari, adding that he touched every facet of Lagos State as a governor between 1999 and 2007.

Niboro further described the APC Presidential candidate as, not only very innovative as he aptly demonstrated in Lagos State, his successors have continued to consolidate on his institutionalized and enduring legacies, thus transforming the State to an enviable status within the country and beyond.

His words: “I will tell you straight away that if you look at Tinubu’s seven-point agenda, the first key thing is leadership. You cannot achieve anything without the right leadership. And Tinubu is prepared to provide leadership. If you get leadership right, many things will fall into place. And that is where we are going to in the next dispensation of APC.

“We have had leadership in the past seven years and we are getting leadership for the next eight years God-willing. And it’s going to be APC’s leadership because the APC candidate has the right experience, knowledge understanding of what needs to be done.”

Speaking on the challenge of insecurity, Niboro said: “These issues are very clear. There is no government that toys with insecurity. There is no government that is not serious about insecurity. Nigeria is confronted with a unique scenario. People are learning on the job every day to solve these problems. We know how these things started. It doesn’t mean that there is no government that is not ready to tackle it. But these are new things and government learns every day”.

According to him, the message of the APC Presidential candidate resonates with the youth, adding that

He further noted that the party’s presidential candidate’s message takes cognizance of the Nigerian youths, stressing that they constitute a major fulcrum in Asiwaju’s plan for a better Nigeria.

“The young people of Nigeria support our presidential candidate. We see a lot of movements around the Labour Party. But in APC, we have always had young people, vibrant, imaginative, and brilliant. And we still have them.
