The Ondo State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Agboola Ajayi, has won his polling unit.

This is as counting and sorting of votes have begun in most of the polling units across the state.

The New Diplomat reports that Ajayi polled a total of 194 votes to win his polling unit, PU004, located at Apoi Ward II, Kiribo, Ese-Odo local government area (LGA) of Ondo state.

He defeated the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who only polled 3 votes.

Aiyedatiwa and Ajayi are battling for votes of the Ondo electorates to emerge as the governor of the state for the next four years.
