  • As Osanebi, Omo-Agege’s Running Mate Is Formally Presented To Delta North APC
  • Era of vote making gone – Ochei

As the Delta State PDP continues to tear itself apart over leadership supremacy crisis, amid myriads of litigations, a sizeable number of aggrieved and disenchanted chieftains of the party are already working from inside in support of the opposition party, the APC, which is poised to rescue the state in 2023.

Stating this in a Delta North APC meeting in Asaba over the weekend, the Director-General of the APC 2023 Governorship Campaign Organization, Elder Godsday Orubebe, declared that the APC and its governorship candidate/running mate for the 2023 election, have already embarked on a serious mission to rescue the State from the over two decades of PDP neglect and misrule.

Orubebe, a former Federal Minister of the Niger Delta Affairs, stated that he has been in touch with many of the disenchanted PDP Chieftains and members, urging them to put the past behind them and key into the Senator Ovie Omo-Agege/Osanebi APC rescue mission team to successfully change things for the better in the State, come 2023.

According to him, the APC would experience a resounding victory for the Senator Ovie Omo-Agege/Osanebi ticket in the 2023 governorship election.

While formally presenting the party governorship running mate, Hon. Friday Osanebi to the Delta North APC caucus leaders meeting on Saturday August 6, a chieftain of the party and Executive Director of Maritime Labour and Cabotage, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Hon. Victor Ochei, described him as a “political asset who has become a huge plus for the party”

Ochei who is a former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, expressed optimism in the capacity and capability of Osanebi, adding that he is distinguished, disciplined and has the capacity to deliver..

According to him, the PDP in the State must be regretting it’s action for allowing the former Deputy Speaker to exit the party, adding that he is happy that the loss of PDP has become the gain of APC.
