One of the national leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has disclosed that he is undergoing a physiotherapy in London, United Kingdom.

Tinubu, who has kept mute on his state of health despite months-long concerns made this disclosure for the first time while addressing the northern caucus of the House of Representatives on Thursday.

Earlier, The New Diplomat had reported that Deputy Speaker, Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase, led a delegation of northern lawmakers to pay a get-well-soon visit to Tinubu.

Addressing his visitors, the APC Chieftain, purported to be a 2023 presidential hopeful noted that the physiotherapy which he is currently undergoing in London had been “gruesome”. He also appreciated the lawmakers, friends and Nigerians at large for standing by him at his difficult time.

“Because of God and people like you, I am well. It is just the physio (physiotherapy) that is gruesome,” said Tinubu, whose campaign posters for Nigeria’s presidency in 2023 surfaced on public billboards in far-away London this week.
