Two hours after voting was scheduled to begin, officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have not shown up at the polling unit of Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The location is Polling Unit 047, Ward 3 in Ikeja Local Government Area of Lagos State.

No ad hoc INEC official or member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) on election duty had reported at the polling unit as of 10am.

No official reason has been given for the absence of INEC personnel.
