Erik ten Hag, the current manager of the Premier League club Manchester United has emerged winner of the Premier League Manager of the Month award for September.

Ten Hag presided over two league wins for Manchester United against Leicester and Arsenal while their domestic fixtures with Crystal Palace and Leeds United were postponed following the death of the Queen.

The award marks a double for United as Marcus Rashford was named the Player of the Month after scoring two goals and assisting two against Arsenal and Leicester.

Despite two disastrous defeats to Brighton and Brentford in his first two games as United manager, Ten Hag has overseen four successive league wins against Liverpool, Southampton, Leicester and Arsenal.
