Media guru and Chief Executive officer of Jeremi FM Radio 95.1, Delta State, Prince George Ugen, is dead.

The New Diplomat learnt that the former CEO of the pioneer private FM radio station in Delta State, passed on in the early hours of today at his country home, Otu-Jeremi, headquarters of Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Family sources confirmed that the former media guru, who also served as Deputy Chief of Staff to former Deputy Governor of Delta State, Prof. Amos Utuama, died after a protracted illness.

Younger brother to The Late media guru, Prince Solomon Ugen, who also confirmed the demise of his brother, described him as a humble and peace-loving man who will be missed greatly, especially by the entire family.

He said: “He was a source of inspiration and pillar to the Ugen family, Otu-Jeremi community, Ughievwen Kingdom, Ughelli South Local Government Area and Delta State in general.”

JFM Radio, located along Living Grace Road, Opposite Ughelli South Local Government Area Secretariat, Otu-Jeremi, is the first private Frequency Modulation (FM) Radio Station in Delta State.
