In a dramatic twist of fate, an individual has survived the catastrophic Air India flight that crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad, India.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, en route to London with 242 individuals on board, plunged into a residential area, igniting a blaze that initially led authorities to believe there were no survivors.

Yet, against all odds, one individual said to be seated in 11A, defied the grim statistics and survived the crash.

The lone survivor, a British national, whose full identity remains unknown as of press time, has been confirmed to be under medical care.

This comes after Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik’s initial assessment painted a dire picture, suggesting no survivors from the crash that claimed over 200 lives.
