Barry any last minutes u-turn, developing reports indicate that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar might have settled for the Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as his Vice-presidential Candidate in the 2023 elections.

The choice is likely to come as a shock to some as Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike had already been reported to have won the minds of members of a PDP committee set up to look into the choice of selecting a VP for Atiku.

While Wike got 16 votes, Okowa was reported to have had three votes.

Meanwhile, an official announcement by the main opposition’s PDP is being awaited in this regard.
