Some officers of the Nigerian Army have arrested Nollywood star, Chinwetalu Agu, for reportedly adorning Biafra insignia.

According to reports, Agu, was arrested earlier today, October 7, at the popular Upper Iweka area of Onitsha, Anambra State.

Agu was said to be in the commercial city on a charitable mission where he shared food items to the less privileged.

Also a viral video showed where Agu was arrested by the officers who dragged him into a vehicle and zoomed off immediately.

Another Nollywood star, who spoke to the newsmen on condition of anonymity, described the incident as regrettable and a violation of his human rights.

In his words:“Chinwetara Agu likes identifying with anything Biafra, particularly their muffler. A military friend just called me some minutes ago informing me about the development. He said he’s currently in their custody.”
