Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Lockdown housemate, Olamilekan Agbeleshe, better known as Laycon, continues his upward swing as he became the first housemate to receive a career-boosting surprise from Big Brother in the house.

The surprise happened during a karaoke session that was going in the house. Big Brother had treated the housemates to songs from superstars like Davido, Flavour among others.

While the jubilation was going on, he dropped a surprise on them by playing Laycon’s single, Fierce.BBNaija

The young man was initially stunned for a few seconds before he realized that his song was playing for the whole world to hear.

An excited Laycon  immediately called on other BBNaija housemates and informed them that he owns the song which was being played.

This was followed by the Lockdown stars hailing him with Neo urging him to take centre stage and perform while the song was going on.

Laycon could not hold his excitement after the song finished playing. Fellow BBNaija housemate, Brighto, who joined him in celebrating, noted that the song must be trending on social media already.

He also used the golden opportunity to send a message to his social media handlers and asked them to do the needful by making the song trend.

It appears the young man is quickly becoming a strong contender in the fifth season of the reality show.

Laycon became a trending topic of discussion on social media following reports that he was allegedly the best graduating student from the Department of Arts, University of Lagos (UNILAG), in 2016.

Many who had bashed the young man on the day he appeared in the house were quick to take back their words and note that one should not judge a book by its cover.
