Covid-19: US Govt Finally Presents Trump’s 200 Ventilators To Nigeria

The United States has presented over 200 ventilators to the Nigerian government.

The medical equipments were handed over on Tuesday by the United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Mary Bert Leonard in Abuja.

This generous gift comes four months after President Donald Trump promised to support the country with ventilators in the battles against the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.

Recall Trump, on April 28, had told Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, during a phone conversation that at least 200 ventilators will be donated to Nigeria.

Nigeria’s Minister of Information Lai Mohammed revealed the details of the conversation between the two leaders.

Meanwhile, the number of infections has risen to 46,867 with 950 deaths recorded as of August 10.Trump’s Ventilators Finally Arrive Nigeria.
