French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday hosted Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at a presidential dinner held at the Palais de l’Élysée.

The New Diplomat reports that the dinner formed part of Tinubu’s three-day state visit to France.

It would be recalled that Tinubu had jetted out of Nigeria for Nigeria on a three-day state visit aimed at enhancing bilateral diplomatic relations between the two nations.

During the dinner, a French band entertained the guests by performing P-Square’s renowned song “Testimony (Taste the Money)” as a mark of honour to Tinubu.

The performance, which has since gained significant attention on social media, featured a dynamic interpretation of the Afrobeat classic that skillfully integrated traditional Nigerian rhythms with a French artistic sensibility.

The lively rendition garnered enthusiastic applause from the audience, including Tinubu and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, in appreciation of the band.
