Amid fears of voter apathy being witnessed in parts of the country in the ongoing governorship elections, the President-Elect, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu in company of wife, Oluremi cast his vote at the Alausa polling unit.

The President-Elect who was also accompanied to the polling centre by former information commissioner in Lagos State, Dele Alake was visibly calm.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has also cast his vote at St. Stephen Primary school in Adeniji Adele.

Though, there was voters apathy as the election venue was very scanty with just few persons willing to cast their votes.

The Labour Party, LP Lagos State governorship, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour voted at about 9.45am at his polling unit at Anifowoshe in Ikeja.

The atmosphere seems calm as the voting process had been reported to be seamless.
