The family of late Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh, have fixed Friday, the 19th of August 2022, for a novelty match and candlelight service to be held in her honour in Lagos.

A member of the late actress’ family in a post shared on her Instagram page @AmehAbahi, on Thursday, made the announcement.

Ada Ameh Announces Burial Arrangements

According to Ameh Abahi, “It’s been an emotional journey these past weeks. We draw strength from the most high God and we pray for His guidance as we continue with the burial plans and all the events lined up. Kindly drop your tributes at ada-grace-ameh.forevermissed.com, God bless you!”

On August 25, another candlelight service would hold in her home state, Benue, while on Friday, August 26, the actress’ remains will be interred at her family’s compound, the statement reads.

It would be recalled that the actress died at a hospital in Warri, Delta State, weeks after she complained that she was battling mental health issues.

Ameh was famous for her role as Emu in the Africa Magic family drama The Johnsons.

Born on May 15, 1974, in Ajegunle, Lagos, Ameh became a popular face in Nollywood after playing the role of Anita in the 1996 blockbuster Domitila.
